About Us

What Do We Do?

At Do It For The Kids Foundation, we are dedicated to playing an active role in the growth, development, and empowerment of every child we encounter. Our work extends across schools, communities, youth groups and any space where children need guidance, support, or opportunities to shine.

We step in to assist in meaningful, impactful ways:
• Supporting Schools:
We partner with educators to provide resources, motivation and programs that help students stay focused, confident, and inspired to achieve more.
• Strengthening Communities:
We engage with community leaders, parents, and volunteers to create safe, uplifting environments where children can learn, grow, and explore their potential.
• Providing Youth Programs:
Through outreach activities, academic support, and personal development initiatives, we give young people the tools they need to build strong values, healthy self-esteem, and a bright vision for their future.
• Being Present Wherever Children Need Us:
Whether it’s offering encouragement, creating opportunities, or stepping in during challenging moments, we make sure no child feels unseen or unsupported.

Everything we do is driven by our commitment to “Keep Empowering Youths.”
By showing up, giving back, and staying involved, we ensure that every child has a chance to become the very best version of themselves.

Who are we?

We are Team Do It For The Kids.

Student; Teacher in Training

“My role at DIFTK is Director. It’s not about recognition — it’s about impact. It’s about using who I am to make a difference, right where I am. I serve because I believe in purpose beyond self. Service is how I turn care into action and passion into impact. It’s about lifting others, even in small ways, and being part of something bigger than myself. In serving, I find meaning. I see lives change – and mine changes too. I don’t serve for recognition. I serve because it’s the right thing to do. serve because I want to be part of the solution. In a world full of challenges, service allows me to give hope, create change, and make someone’s burden a little lighter. It’s not about position or praise — it’s about purpose. Serving reminds me that even the smallest act can touch a life forever. I serve because I believe in people – in their potential, their dreams, and their right to be cared for. Service is how I turn faith into action and hope into reality. It’s my way of standing in the gap, showing up, and saying, ‘You’re not alone.’ To serve is to lead with love — and that’s a legacy worth leaving.
My mantra: ‘Service comes with Sacrifice and Small Things Make a Big Difference .’”

“My role at DIFTK is Fundraising and Grants Officer. I choose to serve because I believe in the transformative power of opportunity and in the profound difference one committed adult can make in the life of a child. To serve is not simply to give; it is to stand in the gap, to advocate, to invest time, energy, and love into futures that deserve to flourish.
Service, to me, is a calling grounded in purpose and compassion. It is a conscious decision to be present, to uplift, and to actively participate in the growth of a more just and equitable world one child at a time.
I serve because every child deserves to be seen, heard, and empowered. Because potential should never be limited by circumstance. I believe that when we invest in our children, we are investing in a stronger, brighter tomorrow for all.”

“My role at DIFTK is Public Relations and Communications Officer. I am proud to serve as a dedicated member of the Do It For The Kids Foundation. I have always had a deep love for children and a genuine passion for seeing them grow, thrive, and become the best versions of themselves. Every child deserves support, encouragement, and a safe space where they can dream boldly—and I am committed to being part of that journey. As a teacher, particularly in mathematics, I understand firsthand how challenging certain subjects can feel for students. Math is an area where many children struggle, but it is also an area where I know I can make a real difference. My mission is to help students see math not as something to fear, but as something they can understand, enjoy, and take pride in. I believe deeply in respect, and I treat every child with the same dignity, kindness, and patience that I extend to adults. Children deserve to be heard, guided, and valued—and in every space I step into, that is exactly what I aim to provide. Through my work with the foundation, I hope to help build stronger futures, inspire confidence, and empower youths to reach heights they may have never imagined. Together, we are raising a generation prepared not only to succeed, but to shine.”

Galatians 5:13 adds, “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Ms. Michalia Dawkins

Student; Human Resources

“My role at DIFTK is Secretary. God has promised to bless the people who bless children.
Look what it says in Matthew 10:42. And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” Those who minister to children have the attention of God.
By nature, children are active, imaginative, and creative.
The activities, lessons, and experiences of working with children also help me to increase my own imaginations and creativity. That’s my intrinsic reward.”
